Other junk: A new direction/keeping promises

So this is turning into something different than I originally planed.  If you have been with me from the beginning (and if you havent you can simply go down to my first post and read in order, this will all make more sense if you do) you know that this started as a photography blog about my work and musings on the subject of photography. Yes some of my post so far have leaned toward the photographic, the majority of my writings however, are on much different topics, some vaguely related, but most entirely different.  So for those of you thinking to your selfs that I am a better photographer than writer, don't worry I have not given up photography I simply took this blog in a different direction.  One that embraces the writer in me more than the photographer, but in the interest of keeping my promises (although I am not quite sure I made an actual promise, but I suppose it was implied) I will be posting at least one image per day.  You know just to keep my blog pretty!

Thoughts: A promise

So its quite late, and I am here in front of my computer writing a blog post.  Why?  Because I came to an agreement with myself.  I will write at least two post per day.  I know, I know technically this is a different day but, I have yet to go to sleep so my day continues (the only way to make more time in a day is to, well make more time).  Why have I made an agreement with myself to write two blog post a day?  Simple, the only way to get better at something is to practice.  As you know by now I have my posts edited before I share them with you.  Well I aim to not only become a better writer but also to over come my shortcomings, so I will also be editing one of the two posts per day.  Now as daunting of a task this is I make the promise here to my self and all of you reading, I will do my absolute 100% best to crank out two post per day as well as edit at least one of them myself (yikes now its real). Oh yeah and I will try to do it with as little complaining as possible!  **smily face**  This next part is mostly for me, and anyone who gets something out of it.  I have said in the past that I want to be this or that, a photographer, a writer, an artist, but have done little in the way of actually doing anything to become those things.  You see it is easy to proclaim you want something, it is also easy to do nothing about it and evan easier still to complain that the things you want have yet to come into fruition.  I've had enough, I have realized that I cannot become anything by merely wanting to be that, and nobody is going to go out of their way to make me into what I want to be, especially when I myself won't take the time to try to become that which I want to be.  So how do I propose I become what I want to become?  By becoming it.  This post went on longer than expected.  It was going to be an "Other junk" post but I think I will make it a "Thoughts" one.

A realization, turned epiphany, turned action.

Good night to all.
